By accessing or using Truck Graph (truckgraph.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service. Truck Graph is a free public directory — no account or payment is required to access carrier information.
Service description
Truck Graph provides a searchable directory of US for-hire freight carriers with safety scores, authority status, insurance coverage, and risk indicators. All carrier data is derived from public federal records maintained by the US Department of Transportation and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA).
Acceptable use
You may use Truck Graph for:
- Researching carrier safety records for business decisions
- Verifying carrier authority and insurance status
- Journalistic investigation and reporting
- Academic research
- Personal reference
You may NOT use Truck Graph to:
- Scrape or bulk-download data for commercial redistribution
- Harass, threaten, or defame any carrier or individual
- Misrepresent Truck Graph data or scores as official government ratings
- Interfere with the operation of the service through automated means exceeding reasonable use
Data accuracy disclaimer
Truck Graph strives to maintain accurate, up-to-date carrier information by syncing with federal records every 4 hours. However, we cannot guarantee that all data is error-free at all times. Specifically:
- Data reflects federal records, which may themselves contain errors or delays
- Risk scores are statistical models, not safety certifications or official government ratings
- Risk indicators are algorithmic indicators, not legal findings or official determinations
- There may be a lag of up to 7 days between a change at the federal level and its appearance on Truck Graph
Users should not rely solely on Truck Graph data for safety-critical decisions. Always verify critical information directly with FMCSA through the SAFER system or by contacting the agency.
Intellectual property
The underlying carrier data displayed on Truck Graph is derived from public records and is not subject to copyright. However, Truck Graph's original analysis, scoring methodology, editorial content, design, and presentation are protected by copyright. You may cite Truck Graph data with attribution (see the "Cite this page" block on each page) but may not reproduce substantial portions of our analysis or editorial content without permission.
Limitation of liability
Truck Graph is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of or inability to use this service, including but not limited to business decisions made based on data displayed on Truck Graph. Our maximum liability for any claim related to the service is limited to $0, as Truck Graph is a free service.
Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting to this page. Continued use of Truck Graph after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision.
Analytics and cookies
Truck Graph uses Google Analytics 4 to collect aggregate, anonymized usage data including pages visited, session duration, and general geographic location. By using this service, you consent to the use of analytics cookies for this purpose. You may opt out at any time by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Governing law
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Truck Graph shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
